The 2016 collegiate and professional football season has kicked-off! The Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) would like to remind football fans around the state to be safe and responsible when tailgating this fall.
Tailgating festivities often include alcoholic beverages, and DBPR's Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco (ABT) will be monitoring tailgaters around the state to ensure compliance with Florida Beverage Law. While prevention and education are preferred methods for protecting our youth, ABT will have agents patrolling football games throughout the state this football season to ensure tailgaters enjoy themselves both legally and responsibly.
Florida is home to some of the best college football teams in the nation. Remember to tailgate safely and responsibly as you pack your cooler, light the grill, and gear up to cheer on your favorite team!
