The Bottom Line

Department of Business and Professional Regulation

November 04, 2016

Dear Friends,
With colleges and universities buzzing with activity, there is no better time to learn what you can do to help protect our youth from the dangers of underage drinking.
The Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s (DBPR) Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco (ABT) is committed to fighting underage possession of alcohol and tobacco. ABT has a zero-tolerance policy on underage drinking. So it’s essential to educate young people so they can avoid a mistake that could lead to long-term consequences such as fines, having their license revoked or jail time.
You can help curb this problem by reporting the sale of alcohol and tobacco to minors. Make a report by calling (866) 540-7837 or online at www.myfloridalicense.com.
The end of the year is upon us with all of its festivities, so it is doubly important to stay responsible and ensure everyone has a happy holiday season.

Sincerely,
Ken Lawson’s Signature
